The Shri Amarnath Shrine Board has confirmed that Amarnath Yatra 2025 will take place from July 3 to August 9, coinciding with Raksha Bandhan. The 39-day pilgrimage will allow thousands to undertake the spiritual journey to the holy Amarnath Cave in Jammu & Kashmir.

Early Booking Expected from March 15

Last year, registration opened on April 17. For 2025, it is expected to begin around March 15 both online and offline.

• Age: 13 to 75 years only


• Mandatory: Compulsory Health Certificate


• Required Documents: Aadhaar, photos, ID proof

Spiritual Importance of Amarnath

Each year, devotees trek to the ice Shivling at an altitude of 3,888m. This pilgrimage is not just physical, but also a journey of deep devotion.
